Kenwood's Day of Silence (#KADoS)
On Friday, April 11, 2014, participating Kenwood students will take part in the Day of Silence, a national event to call attention to the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies. My silence echoes that silence, which is caused by bullying, name-calling, and harassment. Ending silence is the first step toward building awareness and making a commitment to address injustice. This day is aimed to stand up for anti-bullying and harassment.
